Suzette Gresham and Giancarlo Paterlini opened Acquerello in 1989 and built a two-Michelin-star Northern Italian room that has held the stars longer than most kitchens have existed. The dining room seats about forty, jackets are encouraged.
Tock posts seats about a month ahead. The 7-to-8:30pm slots go first. Earlier and later seatings stay available, especially weeknights.

How do I get a reservation at Acquerello?
Name Acquerello and the night you want. We book it on your account the instant a table opens or a cancellation appears, and you only pay if we actually get it.
Why is Acquerello so hard to book?
Acquerello is one of the most in-demand tables in Nob Hill. Prime-time seats are claimed within seconds of release, and many never reach the public at all, so refreshing on your own rarely works.
When do Acquerello reservations open up?
Acquerello releases tables on a set schedule, and seats also reappear when other guests cancel. We watch both around the clock and move the instant one opens, so you never have to refresh at midnight.
