Why this room is hard

Evan Funke’s pasta. Seven days out.

Funke is Evan Funke's flagship, the chef already behind two of LA's toughest rooms in Felix and Mother Wolf, and the demand followed him here. Seats open on Resy at 9am Pacific, seven days out, and the small release is gone in the time it takes to refresh. The dining room is built around a glassed-in pasta lab where the handmade shapes are rolled by hand, which means the kitchen is the show and the room stays small on purpose.

A seven-day window that empties in seconds is not a system you beat by being fast. We hold relationships inside the room, we watch the cancellations the public never sees reopen, and we know which names the host stand recognizes before the night even starts. You give us the date. We put your name where it carries weight.

The hardest pasta reservation in America.

Questions

Funke, the FAQ.

How do I get a reservation at Funke?

Name Funke and the night you want. We book it on your account the instant a table opens or a cancellation appears, and you only pay if we actually get it.

Why is Funke so hard to book?

Funke is one of the most in-demand tables in Beverly Hills. Prime-time seats are claimed within seconds of release, and many never reach the public at all, so refreshing on your own rarely works.

When do Funke reservations open up?

Funke releases tables on a set schedule, and seats also reappear when other guests cancel. We watch both around the clock and move the instant one opens, so you never have to refresh at midnight.

How much does it cost to book Funke through The Elusive List?

One flat fee, charged only when we confirm your table. No table, no charge. Sign in to see the exact fee for Funke.

What to expect

Five steps, start to seated.

01

You ask.

Tell us the night, the time window, the party size. Two minutes on this page. Card on file, not charged.

02

We confirm the request.

An operator reviews the request, checks the room, and sends a confirmation that we are working it. Usually within thirty minutes.

03

We work the room.

We reach the floor manager directly, by phone or by text, depending on the night. We make the call.

04

You are confirmed.

We charge the card and send your confirmation — the time and the name to give the host.

05

You eat.

Walk into Funke, give your name at the host stand, sit down. The room takes it from there. We do not see you again until the next request.
