Why this room is hard

It is not a Resy problem. It is a two-week window.

The Monkey Bar inside the Hotel Elysée first opened in 1936 with murals by Charles Baskerville. The room has run as a Manhattan supper-club fixture for nearly a century and ranks inside the city's top ten on the secondary market currently.

Resy opens two weeks ahead. The prime tables clear in the first minute; weeknights and late seatings stay open longer. The bar takes walk-ins for the full menu.

Since 1936. One mural. Two-week window.

Questions

The Monkey Bar, the FAQ.

How do I get a reservation at The Monkey Bar?

Name The Monkey Bar and the night you want. We book it on your account the instant a table opens or a cancellation appears, and you only pay if we actually get it.

Why is The Monkey Bar so hard to book?

The Monkey Bar is one of the most in-demand tables in Midtown. Prime-time seats are claimed within seconds of release, and many never reach the public at all, so refreshing on your own rarely works.

When do The Monkey Bar reservations open up?

The Monkey Bar typically releases reservations around 09:00, and seats also reappear when other guests cancel. We watch both around the clock and grab yours the instant it opens.

How much does it cost to book The Monkey Bar through The Elusive List?

One flat fee, charged only when we confirm your table. No table, no charge. Sign in to see the exact fee for The Monkey Bar.
